After running partially wild through the streets of a small town nestled at the toes of the Adirondacks for the first 17 years of my life, I went on to graduate from Hampshire College in 1999 with a concentration in sculpture and film.
I am drawn to materials like nylon stockings, thread, yarn, latex… and fascinated with how some projects have a way of springing forth from the shadowy place of my lap. I have always thought of myself as a bit of a Dr. Frankenstein character: tinkering away with little bits of this and that, stitching pieces together that might not otherwise belong.
